Proud Nightclub, Camden Town ****star

Proud Nightclub, Camden Town

A cool venue in Camden that is open every night of the week, playing a mixture of music but mostly indie/electro. It also has regular band nights with live music. Located in a converted horse stables its funky interior is definately rememberable and and the mix of people that flock here will really make it a great night out! Bottles of beer start at £3.00 which is pretty reasonable for London as I have found drinks here to be ridiculously expensive.

Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Soho *****star

Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Soho

The world famous Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club is usually a members only venue but they have recently opened it up for everyone and admission fees are only a fiver! It consists of to floors and nearly every night it has live music. Drinks are really expensive though - I saw a bottle of champagne on the menu for £3500! A really swanky place with a relaxed atmosphere and great musicians it is definitely worth a visit even if you can only afford one drink!

Cuban Night at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Soho
Cuban Night at Ronnie Scott's
Every Friday is Cuban night upstairs at Ronnie Scott's, and when I was there I saw a really cute Spanish band, who really livened things up! Everyone got up and danced around them and they really involved the audience in their show. I left feeling really uplifted and happy - like I'd just stepped out of a Cuban street festival!
